Your GM engine is wearing itself out every drive
Active Fuel Management shuts off cylinders while you cruise, using special lifters that switch on and off hundreds of times per drive. Eventually one sticks, the camshaft gets chewed up, and metal goes through the engine.
A lifter and cam repair commonly runs $5,000 or more, and a full engine can top $10,000.
Protect your engine for less than the cost of a tank of gas.

Install in 10 seconds, no tools
Find the OBD-II port under your dash on the driver's side. Plug in NexDrive™ and turn the key. When the blue light comes on, your engine stays in full-cylinder mode.
No mechanic, no software, no tuning.
Unplug it anytime and your truck is back to stock.

Full V8 power, every mile
Every time AFM kicks in or out, your engine switches between full and partial power. You feel a shudder at cruise, a lag when you step on it, and a jolt when cylinders fire back up. It's worst in stop-and-go traffic, on hills and when towing.
With NexDrive™ plugged in, your engine stays in full mode the whole drive.
No more shudder at cruise or lag when you step on it.

Zero ECU changes, 100% reversible
A tune rewrites your engine computer. NexDrive™ doesn't. It sits in the OBD-II port and keeps cylinder deactivation from switching on, with nothing to flash and nothing to undo.
If the truck will sit for more than a week, simply unplug it, same as any OBD-II plug-in.

Frequently asked questions
Does NexDrive™ change my ECU?
No. It doesn't flash, tune or rewrite your engine computer. Unplug it and your truck is completely stock.
Will this void my warranty?
NexDrive™ doesn't modify your ECU. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can't void your whole warranty just because you used an aftermarket part. We still recommend unplugging it before any dealer visit.
Is it safe to run on all cylinders all the time?
Yes. GM V6 and V8 engines ran on every cylinder for decades before AFM existed. AFM was added to hit fuel economy targets, not to protect the engine.
Will I lose fuel mileage?
Slightly. Most owners report about 0.5 to 1 MPG less on the highway and almost no change around town.
Will it fix an engine that's already ticking?
No. NexDrive™ prevents future wear by stopping cylinder deactivation. It can't repair a lifter or camshaft that's already damaged, so get a ticking or misfiring engine diagnosed first.
Does it work on DFM and V6 engines?
Yes, on supported model years. AFM and DFM work the same way, and several GM V6 engines like the 3.6L also have AFM. Use the compatibility checker above to confirm your vehicle.
Can I leave it plugged in?
Yes, for daily driving. If the vehicle will sit for more than a week, unplug it to avoid any battery drain, same as any OBD-II plug-in.
What if I don't like it?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked.
Protect your engine before the lifters go
Ten seconds under the dash. Try it for 30 days, and if you're not happy, get your money back.
